Not that the gym isn't a nice, but if you read my blog much you'll realize I really enjoy getting outdoor workouts. So for this one we'll be doing just that. Incorporating some bodyweight exercises like push ups, dips, handstands, brachiating, pull ups, crawling and more. Oh yea, I'm also kind of into carrying exercises so we'll do plenty of carrying with sandbags and people carries as well. AND! It's been awhile since I've had a good game of Ultimate Frisbee and I don't need Mark Sisson making fun of me at the next PrimalCon if I get my butt kicked. So maybe we should do some of that too!
Let's do it again. Another day just for squats at the Aztec Recreation Center. Come join us and put some time in under the bar. Brian will be squatting too and helping all comers with anything squat related. Whether you need some help reaching full depth, or have questions about how to program the squat into your workouts, join us. Don't worry if you're not a member of the ARC, you can get a free day or week pass to the gym for the event.
San Diego State University students have flooded back into the Aztec Recreation Center to continue or start a training program with new semester. To welcome everyone back from the summer lull Strong Made Simple will be providing free body fat assessments
Another month of training has come and gone. Get out of the gym and meet us for a fun game of ultimate frisbee. All levels of ability are welcome to come out, get sweaty, have some fun and meet some new people. You might even find a new training partner.
