My family's history is an awesome mixture of Indian, Caribbean, British and South American. I can see glimpses of each culture in day to day life but it's most apparent when it comes to our food!

Here is a simple recipe that has the classic Indian favor, but is also healthy! It's a great alternative to chicken breast when you are looking to vary your meal prep. I enjoy that it has a savory taste and is a great source of protein!

Ingredients

1 lb of ground turkey

1/2 of a purple cabbage

8 to 10 cloves of garlic

2-3 cherry pepper OR use your favorite chili pepper

½ cup of onions

1 tablespoons of olive oil

2 teaspoons of masala

4 teaspoons of tomato paste

6-8 shakes of Mrs. Dash

pinch of salt

Recipe Ingredients
Chopped Red Cabbage

Before you Start…

Thaw the ground turkey completely if necessary.
