Next hike for Strong Made Simple is going to be Kwaay Paay! Last Saturday 20 of us went up to North and South Fortuna! Don't worry if you missed it, there will be other opportunities for you to get your picture at the summits. In the meantime though, join us for the next hike to Kwaay Paay!
We will be doing one peak this weekend so we will finish a little earlier. We can use our extra time to check out the Old Mission Dam, or you can head out early if that's better for your schedule.
Even though we will be done sooner, remember to bring water, snacks, hats, sunglasses, and comfortable hiking shoes. Hope to see you there!

We'll be covering various stretches, exercises, and foam rolling movements that you can implement into your daily routine at home or at work to help to alleviate the many stresses of our modern seated environments all with little to no equipment.
Feeling cramped up sitting at your desk all day? Notice that it takes a moment to stand up straight when you're getting up and down. Then join us for this workshop of drills and exercises you can easily practice daily to improve your posture and how you feel.
This will be a fun workout with little to no equipment. We will be focussing on drills that we often use in our warm ups or pair with other "big" exercises. But instead of stopping after 5 minutes or so we will be extending the warm up to be the entire workout.

The Strong Made Simple community will be meeting to discuss our eating goals, barriers, and daily actions that form the habits we need to support our overall fitness goals. And because we don't like to just sit in chairs more than we have to we'll be making good use of our time to do some basic foam rolling and stretching.
This is a free workout time for Strong Made Simple personal training clients and friends in San Diego. Meet some of the people that workout at different times of the day through the week and enjoy changing up the faces of your usual training time. We're gonna go stand up paddleboarding! This is such a fun way to get a workout outside the gym. The Mission Bay Aquatic Center is giving Strong Made Simple a great deal on instruction and boards. This will be a fun event for people of all skill levels.
I'm happy to announce that I will once again be presenting at PrimalCon, Oxnard in 2014. I can't tell you how much fun it's been working with the crew of Mark's Daily Apple and many other fitness professionals. This 4 day event featuress fitness enthusiasts and professionals from all over the map, coming together to not only educate those in attendance about primal living, nutrition, and exercise, but to have one hell of a good time. Between workshops and discussions there's plenty of time for ultimate frisbee, amazing food, and creating some great connections within the primal and paleo community.
